He goes by the name of Jay Jay Cee and many of us know him for his bangers that have been the talk of the town for quite a number of years in the Malawian streets such as “Romeo” with Theo Thomson, “Suli Ngati Enawa”, “Jangiriya”, “Friends” with Saint and many others. Born as Juma James Chitsonga, he has been on countless songs with his impressive dancehall and rap fusion of genres ever since he was young and managed to make way into Mabilinganya Empire several years ago.
Not considering many other details in between, he managed to make his way up the ladder of the Malawian music industry to become what we choose to call ‘a Great’ with an impressive audience in several parts of the country. This achievement on its own was definitely not enough as seen in his recent release with several Malawian hitmakers on a banger that he called “Ya Ma Yoh Ndi Ma Ras”. This song has made significant noise all over the country and the recent release of its video that was shot by outstanding video director 'Ron Cz' just blew the situation out of proportion to make it an official hit all over Malawi.
The song can be heard booming from pub speakers, household home theatres, radio stations, TV Stations and mobile phones wherever one goes and the unique sense in which it was produced and performed just leaves the banger as a center of serious attention for the rest of 2019.
